About Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET)

On behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE), ICET is being conducted for admission into MCA ( Master of Computer Application) and MBA ( Master of Business Administration) courses offered by Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated Colleges.

Generally Procedure

The examination for admission into MCA ( Master of Computer Application) and MBA ( Master of Business Administration) courses offered by Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated Colleges. ICET is conducted by any one University in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE). Generally the chance of conducting ICET Examination will be given on a rotation basis by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Eligibility

For MBA:

• The candidates should have passed a Bachelor's Degree Examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent there of besides passing SSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

For MCA:

• The candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 level (OR) Should have passed Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
• The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET
• A pass (or) appearance at the final year examination of Bachelor's Degree (except BOL and BFA) of any University in Andhra Pradesh or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto.
• The candidates other than Indian nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.

Who Conducts?

Generally the chance of conducting ICET Examination will be given on a rotation basis by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
